Ingredients
two cups sugar
a half cup shortening
a half cup cocoa
one teaspoon salt
one and a half teaspoon soda in quarter cup boiling
water, use glass measuring cup
one cup cold water
two cups cake flour
one teaspoon vanilla
three whole eggs, beaten in mixture one at
a time
How To Make
Cream together the sugar and shortening. Add the cocoa, salt and then stir in
the soda in the boiling water. Add the cold water, cake flour, vanilla. Last
